The source of KBL rail cranes and the difference between rigid rail and KBL flexible rail

The KBLtrack originated in Europe and was introduced to China in the 1990s. After being used in large quantities in 2000, it is called a flexible modular crane. It mainly replaces the 2t suspension crane, and is now the name of the crane below 2t in China. There are many domestic manufacturers, and the quality of the products and the installation services are mixed.
The rigid track is a kind of high-end track, which is introduced into China by Europe and America-funded enterprises after 2000, replacing the original design defects of KBL track:
1.Shaping
The KBL track is welded by two sheets, which needs manufacturer to control the distortion and welding quality. The rigid track is formed by one cold rolling, which effectively avoids quality problems such as secondary welding deformation.
2. Main beam running deflection
Since KBL adopts the ball point flexible connection, therefore, when the main beam is running, one end will start and the other end will be slow. Main beam deflection, Rebound after stop, affecting the positioning accuracy.
As the rigid rails are all rigidly connected, both ends of the main beam start up at the same time, and the positioning is more accurate.
3. Single and double beams and headroom
KBL is limited by its track strength and accessories(trolley and main beam hanging parts), when the load tonnage is more than 1 ton or the internal span above 8m, the design must be double beam. But the rigid track can be reached to 2t load capacity when using single girder.
Additional I-beam load-bearing beams is used as support of KBL crane to increase its headroom. The application of the rigid track design ensures that the headroom is smaller and the amount of steel used is reduced, lighter and simpler.
4. Connection security
The KBL track and the I-beam load-bearing beam, the track and the main beam are all connected by bolts, ball points, bayonet and splints. The structure is flexible and swaying larger so bolts and other loose safety hazards need to be checked and maintained regularly.
All rigid steel are rigidly fixed by thick plates and high-strength long screws . The connection between track and main beam is fixed by sleeve. Completely eliminate the shaking space, safe and reliable.
